Cecilia Wanjiru is the wife of Stanley and a proud mother of three wonderful children. She previously worked at Yale New Haven Hospital for 9 years and currently works as a Registered Nurse at Yale University New Haven. She completed her BSN at Southern Connecticut State University and completed her BSc at Egerton University in Nakuru, Kenya, in 2008. Cecilia and her husband, Stanley moved to the United States from Kenya to further their opportunities. Cecilia worships at Gateway Christian Fellowship in West Haven and has served on the board for the "Love Where We Live ministry". She also spent 15 years as a Sunday school teacher in Githurai, Nairobi. Passionate about working with children, Cecilia’s dream is to open children’s homes in Kenya, providing education and a better quality of life for the less fortunate. This vision motivated her to join the FACES team. Outside of work, Cecilia enjoys music, dancing, gardening, cooking, baking, enjoying nature, and spending time with her beautiful family.

Stanley Nganga has over 10 years of experience working in healthcare. He is married to Cecilia and has beautiful children. Stanley grew up in Thika, Kenya, and moved to the United States in 2011. He is passionate about helping, encouraging, motivating, and providing sustainable solutions to communities. In 2015, Stanley raised funds to dig an electrically pumped water well for his home community in Naaro, Thika, providing clean, accessible water. Stanley and his wife have helped several youths and young adults who dropped out of school to return to their education. He worships at Gateway Christian Fellowship, where he serves in the hospitality ministry. Stanley also served as a Sunday school teacher for 7 years in Githurai, Nairobi. Inspired by his life journey, he has authored two books, "Favored: Not Forgotten" and "More To: Yes I Do," and is a motivational speaker who has encouraged youth at various conferences. His desire to initiate projects in Kenya that improve the quality of life for children and orphans led him to join the FACES team. Outside of work, Stanley enjoys dancing and spending time with his beautiful family.


Our Board Members

Robin Garner, married to her husband Richard for over 44 years and is the proud mother of four children and grandmother to six (and counting). With a professional background in laboratory sciences, Robin’s career includes significant contributions to HIV research as part of the AIDS Clinical Trials Group at Yale University and more than 25 years of dedicated work in the Yale Clinical Virology Laboratory. Robin is deeply involved in her local church, serving in various capacities such as prayer groups, the hospitality team, and as a ministry assistant at the Gateway School of Transformation. She and her husband have also hosted a small group home church and Bible study for many years. Robin actively serves her community by cooking meals for a men’s homeless shelter and volunteering at the 180 Center in downtown New Haven. She is also a proud member of the Historical Society at Camp Bethel in Haddam, CT. Robin has been inspired by Stanley and Cecilia's passion and dedication to their mission for the children in Kenya, and has a strong desire to serve this ministry as it thrives and grows.

Lynn Lincoln is an ordained minister through the ministry of Gateway Christian Fellowship. She has currently completed a two-year program which prepared her to offer Spiritual Direction for both individuals and small groups. Her Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies was completed at Master’s Bible Institute in Southington, CT. Over the past 30 plus years, she has filled various positions on church staff with her last paid position as Executive Pastor. She has held positions as a board member for two churches and three outreach ministries. Her love for the Lord and people motivates all that she does. She is not motivated by sordid gain, title, or prestige. She is passionate about the truth of God’s word going forth bathed in love and prayer to set hearts free. Caring for the spiritually, physically, or emotionally poor is how we demonstrate the love of God, not in word only but in deed. She has dedicated her life to this end.

Kristen Torres married her husband, Jacinto, in 2016 and they have two beautiful daughters. Kristen has a professional background in healthcare and clinical research. She graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2014 with her BS in Psychology and currently works at the Yale University, PET Center as a research assistant. Kristen attends Vox Church located in Branford, CT and has been a member there for over 8 years. During her college years, Kristen attended a mission trip to the Dominican Republic to help build homes and teach children about the Lord. Her heart’s desire is to see the gospel spread to all nations and to share the love of Jesus by helping those in need. Kristen looks forward to making a positive and tangible impact in the lives of others by joining the FACES team. In her free time, Kristen loves going for walks, enjoying nature and spending time with her family.

Kyle Bilodeau, MD is currently a General Surgery Resident at the University of Washington. Kyle’s past international experiences, along with his career as a paramedic, sparked his passion for the world of international development. His determination to create this organization has truly shown his passion for helping others, along with his drive to create an organization that puts the individual first.  


Paige Ryan is currently working as an EMT and received a BS in Biology from Sacred Heart University in 2015. She was first captivated by the world of public health during a trip to Tanzania, when she realized the impact that could be made through the creation of sustainable projects. Her desire to create lasting impacts along with her creative talents has helped to shape FACES Inc. into what it is today. Paige hopes to continue her education and bring FACES to its full potential, with a vision for a global enterprise.  

Olatomide (Tom) Fayomi is a civil engineer and holds a master’s degree in civil engineering and currently works as a structural engineer at TranSystems Corporation. Tom is deeply committed to youth development, with a passion for bringing the gospel to younger generations and advocating for the importance of education. His goal is to inspire and support youth, helping them build brighter futures through faith and knowledge. His commitment and goals towards the youth made him join the FACES team. He attends Gateway Christian Fellowship, where he volunteers in the media and youth church. During his college years, Tom was also part of a Bible study group and volunteered regularly to teach Sunday school, continuing his lifelong commitment to guiding and mentoring young people through faith and education.
